Nature Tours and Hikes
Explore the Everglades and 10,000 Islands in luxury on a 27 ft. pontoon boat leaving from Everglades Isle Marina with Captain Joshua Lewis at Lewis Island Excursions.
Check out Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park where you can hike the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk, Canoe the East River, or hike/bike Janes Memorial Scenic Drive. Visit the Everglades National Park Gulf Coast Visitor Center located in Everglades City.

Golfing and Fishing

Ready for a round of Golf? Everglades Isle is just 30 minutes from the municipal Eagle Lakes Golf Club. Nearby courses also include The Rookery at Marco, Links of Naples, TPC Treviso Bay, and more.

While The Lighthouse ClubTM, pictured to the right, provides light-fare dining options and a full-service bar without having to leave the Resort.
Everglades City is the stone crab capital of the world and famous for its seafood industry. Try some of our favorite restaurants like The Diving Pelican, Hole in the Wall Pizza, Island Café, City Seafood, or Camellia Street Grill.
Marco Island and Naples are less than one hour away and include such favorites as shopping at 5th Avenue South or dining at Marco Prime Steak & Seafood.

Everglades City

Everglades City is full of Old Florida charm and history. Take a look at some of our favorite local spots:
Museum of the Everglades where you will learn how Barron Collier turned a frontier town into the region’s first county seat.
Not for the faint of heart, the Ernest Hamilton Observation Tower lets you climb 108 steps for panoramic views at the highest elevation point in Everglades City.
The Everglades National Park Gulf Coast Visitor Center provides a great jumping off point to learn more about the Everglades eco system.
Local Staples
Re-supply with snacks, fishing supplies, liquor, and Everglades City themed clothing at the Glades Haven General Store.
Pick up marine, RV, hardware, and other supplies at Win-Car Inc Gifts and Hardware.
Get groceries at the Right Choice Supermarket or seafood at Triad Seafood Market & Café.
