🌤️ A Season of Transition
As May came to a close, Everglades Isle entered a quieter phase. With many residents heading out for the summer, the energy around the resort shifted, and we began wrapping up several key projects. As June kicks off, our attention turns to summer operations, with a strong focus on preparedness and resilience.
With hurricane season on the horizon, the EGI team has been hard at work. Staff have been diligently stowing equipment and securing the grounds to ensure the property is ready for any storms that may come our way. We’re proud of their dedication and proactive approach to safety and stewardship.
🌿 Spring in the Everglades & Around EGI
Spring has fully arrived in the Everglades, and we’ve felt it here at the resort. A big thank-you to Carol for sharing her beautiful nature photography — a vivid reminder of the season’s renewal and the unique charm of this place we call home.
Signs of the season are everywhere: the crab boats have been pulled from the water, officially closing another successful harvesting season. We also had the joy of celebrating a special milestone with a baby shower for Joselyn, a former EGI housekeeper, and her partner Lloyd. We send our best wishes to the growing family.
Wayne has been putting in the work to get our sprinkler system running at full strength — thank you, Wayne, for keeping things green and growing.
And finally, Everglades Isle recently served as the location for a photo shoot by Marissa Collections of Naples. With our lush landscaping and tranquil surroundings, EGI made the perfect backdrop for a bit of high-end fashion photography.
🗓️ Looking Ahead to 2025–2026
Even as we settle into the off-season, plans are already underway for the 2025–2026 season. From food and music to games and gatherings, we’re curating a lineup that promises to make next season one to remember. Keep an eye out for updates as we get closer to opening day — we can’t wait to share what’s in store.
