fishing report

This fishing report just in from Capt. Becky Campbell - The fishing has been fantastic for the last few weeks, even the week the wind was blowing 25 mph. The wind has died down with highs around 76, who can believe this beautiful weather.
We are catching a good mix bag of fish. Plenty of action on the flats for pompano, trout, bluefish, ladyfish, mackerel and flounder. Around the islands we are catching a nice number of snook, redfish, jewfish, jacks, ladyfish and snapper. We also caught a 23 inch Gag Grouper in the Islands.
For an exciting…

Christmas at Everglades Isle
Posted by: everglades | Comments: 0
The Everglades Isle family celebrated a traditional Christmas Holiday in Everglades City with a boat parade, light parade, Santa visits (sometimes by firetruck, sometimes by swamp buggy), lighting of the tree at City Hall, Church programs and decorations on the lawns and homes of the local residents.
If you are nostalgic for a small town Christmas, nothing beats Everglades City.
Now Everglades Isle Motorcoach Resort and Marina is busy welcoming back our Winter residents and visitors. The weather is perfect (72 degrees today) for boating, fishing, exploring or resting by the pool.
