Fishing Report
Posted by: everglades | Comments: 0
New fishing report just in from Capt. Becky:
The fishing has been good with nice catches of trout, red fish, pompano, mackerel, bluefish, snook, etc. A couple of days ago we had the biggest trout of the season for my boat - a 24 3/4” gator trout. Now that’s a big trout. We are catching some nice big ones, most around 18-19 inches. These fish are fun to catch and great to eat. Take them in to a restaurant here in town to fix for your dinner, you can’t get any fresher than that.
The tarpon are here…

Everyone is postponing their trip north just as along as they can. The weather here at Everglades Isle could not be more perfect, whether you want to boat out to one of the 10,000 Islands or stretch out by the pool and soak up some great Florida sun.
With rental rates starting at $59 per night, it’s the perfect time to give us a try.

fishing at Everglades Isle
Posted by: everglades | Comments: 0
One of our guests was late for the pool-side breakfast this morning as he was busy landing a snook off the dock in front of his coach. This morning turned out to be the perfect end to his trip to the Florida Everglades. Beautiful sunny morning with a slight breeze off the water, boats are easing out the River for a day of fishing and boating, fish are jumping as a dolphin plays just off the docks - then you hook a snook and you’re late for breakfast! Life sure is tough here at Everglades Isle.
