Everglades City Astonished by Performance Boats!

No one in town was prepared for what they were about to witness!  People looked up in to the sky to see a helicopter with photographers snapping pictures!  Then, they looked towards the river and found the answer!  Lead by Everglades Isle “Never Say Never”, 17 wildly and unique performance boats paraded through Indian Key pass and down the Barron River to our docks this past Saturday.  The Florida Powerboat Club enjoyed a private lunch catered by the Oyster House, a famous and popular local restaurant.  Some of the FPC members opted for an airboat ride with Jungle Erv’s,

Welcome Florida Powerboat Club

Everglades Isle extends a warm welcome to The Florida Powerboat Club, who will be arriving tomorrow (March 20th).  The Captain of our own “Never Say Never” pontoon boat will cruise in to the bay and meet the group with their performance boats!  They will then parade down the Barron River and dock with us.  The Oyster House, a local favorite restaurant, is catering a “SW Florida” style lunch while they will enjoy soft-drinks and cocktails from our bar!  We would like to thank Stu Jones, the president of FPC, for helping to organize this event and our owners, seasonal renters,

Everglades Isle EXPOSED!!!

This past Saturday began with a home tour presented by the Everglades Society for Historic Preservation.  Tickets were sold and donations were made, but no one in town had any idea what was about to happen!  Visitors from Bonita Springs to Miami flooded in to Everglades City to see what many people call “old Florida”.  We expected 50 visitors.  By 3pm, we had 600 visitors and by the end of the day…the count reached just over 1000.  We hope all of you enjoyed your tour of our Class A motorcoach retreat and marina!

Everglades Society for Historical Preservation

The Everglades Society for Historical Preservation will tour Everglades City today.  Donations were accepted in exchange for visits to many local, historical homes and businesses.  Since our decor is “Old Florida” styling, we were invited to be one of the hosts for this charitable event.  Perhaps at the end of their journey, they will find Everglades Isle Lighthouse Club restaurant and bar refreshing!

Lights, Camera, ACTION!!

Lights, camera, ACTION!!  The Florida Powerboat Club is coming to our marina.  Top named performance boats will parade across the Barron River escorted by our own “Never Say Never” pontoon boat.  A helicopter will be shooting aerial photographs tp post in their magazine, “Powerboating in Paradise”.  We will host a luncheon catered by one of the local restaurants, set up airboat tours, show a movie about local history, and much more!  We are honored and excited to host this special event and welcome other boat and motorhome enthusiasts to join us!  Reserve your spot now for the event of the season!
