Two of our guests rented a boat and went out fishing on the coldest day of the year!  South West Florida does not normally see temperatures below 70 degrees, even during the winter.  This did not stop our guests from their fishing excursion, and it did not prevent them from bringing back a nice variety of fish!  The couple brought back Redfish, Sheephead, Whiting, and Silver Trout.  All of these are native to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and make a great meal!  Of course, it is always tastier when you catch it yourself!  More fishing reports…

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Everglades Isle.  Everglades Isle Luxury Motor-coach Retreat is at a prime location on SR 29 located in Everglades City, Florida.  Guests here are enjoying all of the amenities, boating, fishing, and hiking along the many boardwalks nearby.  Guests may want to visit the Miccosukee Tribe’s 35th Annual Indian Arts Festival.  It will be held beginning December 26th and ending on January 3rd.  The hours are 9:30am to 5:00pm daily.  It is located approximately 40 miles east on US 41 at The Cultural Center.  You can enjoy watching Native American dancing and singing…

We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!  The Motorcoach enthusiasts who are traveling, we wish you good weather and safe roads!  We invite you to stay with us and enjoy a luxurious Holiday Retreat.  We are receiving a high level of interest in our $79 nightly motorcoach site rental.  Avid boaters and fishermen love the idea of having their own boat dock with boat rentals nearby.  Ladies are scheduling spa treatments while the men are fishing.  Guests are gathering at our Lighthouse Club, enjoying cocktails and conversation.  Once again, Happy Holidays from everyone here at Everglades Isle!!

Indroducing our new fueling facility

I would like to announce the completion of our new fueling facility.  All boats welcome to stop here and fill up with the 89 grade, non-ethanol fuel offered.  Coming in January is the grand opening of our Marina and Ship Store Chickee.  After filling up, you can stop in the Chickee for a cold beverage.  Information on owning or leasing a wet slip can be found on our home page.  We are situated on the beautiful Barron River with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, where the fishing possibilities are endless!  We look forward to your visit.
